About Munira Premji

ABOUT MUNIRA

Hi, I'm Munira Premji.

Leadership Development Consultant
• Executive Coach • Keynote Speaker • Three-Time Cancer Survivor

For more than 25 years, I’ve helped leaders, teams, and organizations create healthier workplaces through greater self-awareness, stronger communication, and more intentional leadership.

I believe lasting change doesn’t happen because people receive more information. It happens when they see themselves differently.

Whether I’m facilitating a leadership program, coaching an executive, or Keynotes to hundreds of people, my goal is the same—to create insight that changes conversations long after the event is over.

MY JOURNEY

Helping Leaders and Teams Create Meaningful Change

I help leaders and teams move from disconnection and uncertainty to clarity, trust, and meaningful impact. I believe every person has more potential than they can currently see—and when leaders deepen their self-awareness, everything about how they lead, communicate, and relate begins to change.

For more than twenty-five years, I’ve helped leaders and organizations transform how they lead, communicate, and work together. Through executive coaching, leadership development, team facilitation, and frameworks such as Insights Discovery® and the Enneagram, I help people build self-awareness—because lasting change starts there.

The challenges organizations face are rarely about strategy alone—they’re about people.

WHAT I BELIEVE

The Beliefs That Guide My Work

Every coaching conversation, leadership program, workshop, and keynote I facilitate is grounded in a simple belief: when people understand themselves better, they lead better.

Every person has more potential than they can currently see.

Real leadership begins with self-awareness.

Teams thrive when people feel understood.

Growth starts with curiosity, not certainty.

Change becomes possible when people feel safe to be honest.

MY STORY

The Experiences That Shaped My Perspective

I don’t believe in short-term inspiration. I believe in experiences that change how people think, lead, and relate long after the session ends.

Life has reinforced that belief in ways I never expected.

Since 2012, I’ve faced three cancer diagnoses and now live with multiple myeloma. Those experiences didn’t change my purpose—they deepened it. They taught me that resilience is practiced, not proclaimed, and that leadership is less about having answers and more about showing up with courage, humility, and hope.

Those lessons shape every conversation I facilitate, every leader I coach, and every keynote I deliver.

Not because my story is unique—but because it reflects something true for all of us:

We are far more capable than we believe.

BEYOND THE WORK

The Person Behind the Profession

When I’m not working with leaders and teams, you’ll find me with my husband, Nagib, being “Nima” to my grandchildren, writing, travelling, cooking, blogging, experimenting with feng shui, cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays, or enjoying a great conversation over coffee.

Because leadership doesn’t only happen in boardrooms.

It happens in the everyday moments that shape who we become.
